Will Wiesenfeld (Baths, Geotic) has always been an inspiration for me. I remember hearing Obsidian in my first year of uni and kind of being floored at how dark an album could be while still being playful and unique. His production has always pushed me to try new things with found percussion sounds, polyrhythms, and pushing my falsetto while singing. This song has always been stuck in my head from the first time I heard it so getting it out into a cover kinda feels cool after all these years.
